Oklahoma born vocalist and guitarist JD McPherson gets deep inside the music on his debut album Signs & Signifiers. R&B, Blues, Rockabilly and Hip-hop have influenced his sound and he goes way beyond a mere retro trip back through these styles. He cuts a new path with his sharp eye and ear.
